Plasson Barrier

The UK's first range of fittings with approval on multiple manufacturers barrier pipes, 25, 32 and 63mm.

Barrier pipe is a reinforced PE pipe used to protect water supplies where laid in what is commonly known as contaminated ground. It is easily identified by the brown stripe on the blue pipe.  Although barrier pipe is defined as 25,32 and 63mm, the OD of the pipe is actually larger, for example, 25mm barrier pipe OD may be between 26.2mm and 27.8mm.

The Plasson Barrier fitting has been specifically designed to accommodate all sizes between the tolerances stated in BS8588, the British Standard for water pipes in contaminated ground. 

Ensuring no contact between the protective aluminium layer in the barrier pipe and the drinking water, you can have confidence that the PLASSON Barrier fitting will provide a completely secure method to maintain the full system protection barrier pipe installations require.
